What’s happening at Nova?

Good news for competency-based learning!  House Education passed HB 1599 and HB 1089, bills that will delink high school graduation from the results of standardized tests.  Details are yet to be determined, but this is encouraging news.

However, there is nothing definitive yet from the state regarding testing vs. graduation alternatives for class of 2020 and beyond. Please remind your students to attend school for testing this week and next week as scheduled.

Students, please check in with your coordinators if you have any questions.
